Privacy Policy
In short: the photos and details you type to make a banner stay on your device. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else. We use Google Analytics to count how the site is used, and you can switch it off below.

This policy explains how shradhanjalibanner.in (“the site”, “we”) handles information. It is published in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it.
1. Photos and details you enter
When you make a banner, the photo you choose and the names, dates, places and messages you type are processed only inside your browser. The banner image is drawn on your device and saved to your device. None of it is sent to us, stored on a server, or shared with anyone.
So that you don’t lose your work on a refresh, the text you type and your choices (language, colour theme, photo frame) are saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device. We cannot read it. The “Clear Form” button deletes the saved text, and clearing this site’s data in your browser settings removes everything.
2. Usage analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it. It sets cookies in your browser and records:
- pages viewed, approximate location (city/region, derived from your IP address), device, browser and operating system type, screen size and how you arrived at the site;
- actions in the app, such as choosing a language, theme, photo frame or banner format, loading the sample, uploading a photo (only the fact that one was uploaded, never the photo), previewing, downloading or sharing a banner, opening an FAQ, and whether you chose to contribute or skip the optional contribution prompt.
We never send your photos, names, dates, places, messages or any text you type to Google Analytics. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalisation, so this data is not used to build advertising profiles. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account (no more than 14 months) and then deleted by Google. Google processes this data on servers that may be outside India; see Google’s Privacy Policy.
Your choice: you can turn analytics off for this browser here. It takes effect on your next page load and stays off until you clear this site’s data.

3. Optional contributions
The site is free. Before a download we may ask whether you would like to contribute ₹99; this is entirely optional and skipping it never affects your download. If you choose to contribute, you are taken to Buy Me a Coffee, a third-party service that handles the payment under its own privacy policy and terms. We do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank details. Contributions are voluntary support for an individually run tool; they are not a charitable donation and are not eligible for any tax deduction. Any refund is handled under Buy Me a Coffee’s terms.

The site also installs a service worker so it can work offline. It only caches the site’s own files on your device.
5. Children
The site is meant for adults arranging a memorial. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly process personal data of anyone under 18.
6. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask for information about, correction of, or erasure of personal data processed about you, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. Because we do not hold your photos or banner details, there is nothing about them for us to provide or delete: they exist only on your device, and you control them as described in section 1. For analytics, you can withdraw at any time with the button in section 2. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Security
The site is served only over HTTPS with a strict Content Security Policy, and your banner content is never transmitted, which removes the main risk of it being exposed.
8. Contact and grievances

9. Changes
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and its effective date.
